Bringing More Connection, Joy & Awareness to Early Childhood
A Mentor Program for Parents, Educators and Teachers
A fluid program that is always growing and evolving - you will never have to pay for updates or new content.
Your voice matters - you will have the opportunity to share what you would love to see within the program.
Change begins with us, and this program will not just give you tangible ways to parent and teach, it will also help you heal. It will bring more connection, joy and awareness to your own life.
In a world filled with parental and educator burnout, children suffering with anxiety and depression, and a lack of support, we NEED change.
The Heartfield Way can be implemented in ANY home, classroom or childcare setting, even when you need to follow a certain curriculum or what philosophies your school/daycare holds.
It is about introducing more connection and joy for everyone in your care, including you.
You can create meaningful change in your life, your child/ren's lives and extend it to the community around you.
The Heartfield Way may be online, but it involves YOU bringing needed change to parenting, education and early childhood.
This is a grassroots movement.
This entire program takes all my knowledge, wisdom, experience and insights over the last 20 years from psychology, counselling, early childhood education, play therapy and aware parenting and gives it to you in this unique, accessible and community-rich format.
For years I've been asked how I do everything I do.
People want to know the 'why' but also tangible ways to put it all into practice.
This has been years in the making, and it's at your request that I have created the beautiful, unique and inspiring program that will change your life.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who is The Heartfield Way Mentor Program for?
* Parents - whether you homeschool or not - (I currently homeschool 1 child, while my other child goes to school (both have been homeschooled over the years)
* Early Childhood Educators
* Teachers of Preschools and Primary Schools (up to grade 4)
* Anyone else in the world who wants to be part of a life-enriching revolution to make a better world for children, parents and educators/teachers
I'm a parent, will the sections on education be relevant to me?
Yes. I have seen so many times teachers/educators struggling in a broken system, wanting a better way.
As parents, we are key stakeholders in the education system, we have the power to help change happen.
We can empower ourselves, our children's teachers, and even our children to have a voice within the system. This is also a very holistic and multi-dimensional program.
Everything in this course can apply at home, in the classroom, in childcare setting, and even in your own workplace outside of the education system.
Is this course suitable for people and children with neurodivergence?
Absolutely!
I have so much experience working with children and adults with neurodivergence; both personally and professionally.
Everyone, can benefit from The Heartfield Way.
I'm a teacher, and I know my school would never want these changes?
I so hear you!
Luckily, these changes don't need to happen on a school-wide level if not everyone is on board.
We can bring these changes to just our classroom, and in doing so, we are already creating change. Because you will be bringing more compassion, play, awareness, connection and meaningful learning to the children in your classroom. That in itself is an incredibly powerful thing to do.
Is there a set time limit to complete the program?
No, this is a 'go-at-your-own-pace' program.
You will have lifelong access.
You can work through as quickly or slowly as you like.
We all learn at different rates and in different ways. I invite you to tune in to what pace feels comfortable for you you.
Can I only sign up once a year?
No, this program is accessible all year round.
Do I have to do the Modules in order?
That's entirely up to you.
Although, I have sequenced them this way intentionally.
Each Module adding to the knowledge, experience and practice of the previous modules to form a solid foundation of understanding.
Are there any Live components to the program?
Yes, I believe having a live community component is crucial to progressing through the program.
There will be monthly community calls.
There are also Discussion boards for every Module, so you are never alone on the journey.
What if I haven't gotten up to the Module we will be talking about for each month's call?
In the Community Calls, we don't just focus on the content.
There will be opportunities to share, listen, reflect, ask questions, and practice certain parts of the program in a group setting.
These calls are more about creating a strong, trusting and supportive community of like-minded change-makers.
Will The Heartfield Way be available for in-person trainings at daycares and schools?
That is one of my intentions.
I would love to be invited into childcare settings and schools, and collaborate meaningful ways that THW can be incorporated into each school/daycare on a personalised level.
Feel free to send me a message to find out more.
TESTIMONIALS
for Stephanie Heartfield & Spirited Hearts®
"Being a part of Spirited Hearts Natural Learning Haven has been an experience that our family only ever dreamed about. We always wanted to live life in a more connected, aware, and wholesome way and one that advocates for natural learning. The space Steph facilitates for our two kids has been such a positive addition to our life. Our children have high needs and I’ve felt all their needs emotionally and physically are met when they are in her care." - Family Day Care Parent
“Meeting Steph and becoming part of the Spirited Hearts community has been such a wonderful blessing for our family. From the minute we walked into the Natural Learning Haven, we knew we had stumbled across something truly unique, something special that you don't encounter often. Spirited Hearts isn't at all like a usual daycare facility, it's like a home away from home. A warm and inviting place of fun and adventure where we feel a sense of belonging. It's not uncommon for us to arrive to find our daughter halfway up a tree, picking wildflowers or collecting eggs from the backyard chickens. Her curiosity and sense of wonder fully energised! Knowing our daughter is safe, and fully supported to be who she genuinely wants to be is an absolute treasure. The bar has now been set so high for us that going anywhere else just isn't an option. Spirited Hearts Natural Learning Haven is a true diamond in the rough.” - Family Day Care Parent
“My very introverted 3 year old has been attending Spirited Hearts for one year. I was very hesitant to put him into a natural learning program because I wasn’t sure how he would cope. However, after our first visit with Steph, I was confident he would be ok. My son has just thrived so much. I feel confident that his emotional wellbeing is being taken care of. I love that there’s no tv of ipads in sight, and nature is a huge focus.” - Family Day Care Parent
“Steph came highly recommended as a nurturing Educator and we were blown away. The kindness and outstanding care provided to our daughter exceeded our expectations. Ivy liked having someone sit with her to sleep, Steph and Lukas were able to cater to all of Ivy’s needs and Ivy was always happy to be in care with Steph.” - Family Day Care Parent
"My partner and I have always had trust issues as a result of neglect and abuse that we suffered as children. We have no family support and have largely raised our children by ourselves. So when the opportunity came to place our older boy into a natural learning place with Steph, we didn't hesitate, as we knew that she shared our attachment parenting principles, and patience and support that is so paramount when it comes to raising children. To make matters even harder, my boy had second degree burns only a few months prior to joining her natural learning haven. He was traumatised by the experience and Steph suggested some Aware Parenting techniques to me, which have been an absolute life saver. I will never hesitate to recommend Steph and her husband and I only wish that she lived closer, so we could use her services again" - Family Day Care Parent
“Steph is so in tune with the children she looks after. My son always felt safe and confident going to daycare with her. One thing I’ll always remember is how he told her he felt scared going to sleep alone so Steph and Lukas took turns to sit with him and calm him until he fell asleep each day until he was happy and ready to do it on his own. Lots of outdoor and nature play too which is great for the little busy minds! Highly recommend!” - Family Day Care Parent
“Thank you so much for looking after our beautiful firstborn this past 18 months. He has absolutely adored coming to you and I’m so glad he settled in straight away after our first visit. He will really miss you and coming here. Your kind and loving nature has really helped him feel comfortable and accepted to be himself.” - Family Day Care Parent
"I met Steph last year at a time in my life when my soul was searching for more depth and more growth. She is the first person I’ve met who holds space and has listening skills that reflects back what is needed. I first realised this when sharing something personal with Steph and she listened in a way that reflected back to me and pulled out of me all of what I needed. Listening is a skill most people don’t have. Steph models this skill so beautifully and I truely believe it’s one of the most valuable skills to have in life." - Counselling Client
“I have seen a few psychologists and professionals, but none helped me more than Steph did. We had monthly sessions for 2 years, and I always felt so supported and accepted. Steph listens with so much empathy and compassion, she never judges and she respects who I am as a person. I highly recommend working with Steph.” - Counselling Client
"My husband and I attended Steph's Aware Parenting workshop and we both came away with many a-ha moments. It really solidified our choice to parent our kids this way and just makes so much sense. It also highlighted a lot of things about myself, and I am now more self-aware. It was very easy to digest and we have added so many things to our parenting tool belt. We feel so much more confident going forward." - Workshop Attendee
"I am new to Aware Parenting, and found Steph’s workshop to be the perfect beginning point. The presentation was visually engaging and the content was deeply interesting and informative. It is evident in Steph’s work just how passionate she is about Aware Parenting. She presents with an air of excitement and obvious knowledge. Steph made us feel comfortable to ask any questions we may have had, and held space whenever we were in a vulnerable or emotive state. I found the resources she shared to be beneficial, and useful in deepening my knowledge of Aware Parenting. I have taken so much away from this workshop and look forward to attending any further workshops she hosts in the future." - Workshop Attendee
"I have just finished the course and I cannot believe how much I have been able to take away from it. I knew in all the hustle and bustle of life and having serious job roles for decades that I had forgotten how to play and this short course what just what I needed to kick me off in the right direction again. I've often felt weird playing with the kids and these ideas have really been great prompters for me. The kids and I have already played a lot more together just this afternoon, all while getting household chores done, which is a miracle to me! This is going to sound really weird, but I kind of feel as though I've been given permission to smell the flowers again. Life changing!" - The Play Files Participant
" I loved your course and want to thank you for taking the time to share the games you’ve discovered and developed. I truly feel they will be a game changer for our family. My husband and I were looking for ways to incorporate play for when our son is in a challenging moment and this is it. I’ll also be trying this at work (I’m an educational assistant). Thanks so much!” - The Play Files Participant
