What is Kinship Connection?

Steph and Nic are incredibly excited to introduce you to something that we are so passionate about; Kinship Connection. This is a safe, supportive and accepting space for children aged 6-12 years old and their families.

We created Kinship Connection after seeing our own children’s emotional well-being thrive when they started a Penpal friendship, which then moved to Zoom. After experiencing difficulty at school with peers, our children found a special kinship where they both felt unconditionally accepted, respected and valued by each other. No matter how stressful their days might have been, they knew they had that one special friend that would accept their for exactly who they were. They didn’t need to hide or mask parts of themselves. They walked away from those Zoom calls overflowing with joy, love and happiness.
This is something Steph and Nic would have loved to have as children, especially after experiencing chronic bullying throughout our childhood’s at school.

In a world, where we are surrounded by so many others, it can also feel very isolating for many children as they attempt to navigate ‘social norms,’ powerlessness and anxieties that can occur in social situations where they aren’t always accepted for who they are.
Kinship Connection seeks to elevate the emotional, mental and social well-being of children.
Kinship Connection is not just FOR the children, it is WITH the children.
In this space children are empowered to collaborate and co-create Kinship Connection with us. So we can meet everyone’s needs, and our children and their families can truly thrive.  

Steph and Nic are here to also support parents, so you can support your children.  
Kinship Connection is based on Aware Parenting, Marion Method, Attachment, Child Development, Neuroscience, and is Trauma-Informed.

What is Included?

Support for your whole family

Secure Discussion Forums for parents and children (away from social media)

Monthly Kinship Cubby via Zoom for children 6-12 years old (the first 30 minutes is for parents to check in with us, the remaining 60 minutes is for the children). There will be monthly topics, which the children can collaborate in discussing

Children co-creating Kinship Connection to meet their needs and empower them

A safe, accepting and nurturing space for children to flourish in their social and emotional well-being    

How do I join Kinship Connection?

Subscribe (below) to join Kinship Connection.
It is one subscription per family (not per child)

We we only be accepting 30 families, because we are only willing to provide the highest quality supportive environment for every single child and their family.
